footprints

I leave few footprints. Or, perhaps, I leave few physical footprints.

All of my energy currently goes into non-physical creation: music is transient^[0] and you can't touch code. I'd like to leave more of an impression upon the world. A beautiful impression, if possible.

Not for any reason of legacy because, even if I were interested in that, 22 is too young to care about such a distant future. I just want to be able to hold something and say, I made that.

It's a feeling I love when I paint, which I do almost never, so I think art is the way I want to go. My younger sister is big on drawing so I never really got into art to avoid stepping on her toes. She's just received some astounding offers to study animation at university though, so it's about time I showed her how it's done!

My first goal is to produce some pencil drawings of trees and other natural objects which I'll adorn my website with. I'm planning a redesign centred around natural metaphors, but I've got to learn to draw first so it's a long, long way off.
